Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Stopping sale

Did some work for a friends kid. She lives out of state. Decided she wasnt going to pay. I've taken her to District Court. Breach od contract, Fraud and misrep and Intentional infliction of emotional distress. Long story. Took a bit to get the Judge to hear on the Exemplary damages. Finally getting somewhere, but the place I worked on she decided to sell at an extremely low price. The only thing she has here in Michigan. Is there any way to get her to stop selling it? It's my only way to get my money if I happen to win. I know ''get an attorney'' but my actual damages would probably be lower than that of an attorney and if I lose I'll be going further into the hole. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Stopping sale

Did you get a judgment? If you got a judgment, then 21 days after it was entered you can use it go place a lien on any assets that she has or garnish her wages. There is information on a lot of the court websites on how to place judgments and garnish that you would find helpful.
