Legal Question in Immigration Law in Michigan

Court judgement

i need to find out how to go about obtaining a copy of a court judgement against me back in the spring of 2000. I need this for my Canadian permanent residency application. Can I do this on-line somehow? The offence was a DUI...now I have to apply for a pardon as part of becoming a Canadian citizen, so I have to obtain a copy of the judgement and the sentence. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Re: Court judgement

You obtain this document by going back to the Court that rendered the judgment. The document is called a "disposition". You may want to check the form that this document needs to take (notarized?) with the Canadian Authorities. If you do not already have Canadian Counsel, our offices have a Canadian Barrister/Solicitor and she may be able to assist you. Her name is Ms. Veronique Malka-Nasser and she can be reached on extension 106.
