Legal Question in Insurance Law in Michigan

My van was involved in a car accident. My brother was the driver. My van did not have Insurance on it and i knew this. I went on a family trip out of state and used my parents car being my van did not have insurance. I left keys with my parents in case of a emergancy or if they needed to move the van they could do so. I made it clear i wanted no one else driving it. While i was out of state i got a call that my brother was on his way to the hospital a drunk driver hit him. My father was a passenger my van. Drunk driver was killed from head-on. Drunk drivers fault. My parents went to my brothers house being my parents had insurance on their car they thought that their insurance would cover them if something was to happen while they had my van. When my parents got to my brother house.. my brother decided that he needed car parts for his car being it was broke down. And decided that he would use my van. My father went with him. keep in my mind i didnt even know my brother had my van. And he never got permission from me. And he was very well aware that it didnt have insurace. After all said and done i get a letter in the mail saying that i could be responible for my brother lawyer fees, court fees, any unpaid dr bills, settlement that hes asking for, And the cost of someone driving him back and forth to dr appoinments and for someone to take care of him. He end up with 2 broken legs out of this. and after like 2 weeks out of hospital he was up and walking and taken himself to appointments and no one been taken care of him. but is telling his lawyer that hes got someone doing this for him and thats not the case at all. With all that being said. So my Question is.. Could i really be responsible for all this?? and plus the letter said i could lose my drivers license. Could you please help me so i know what i need to do to stop this from happening if they could or can really go after me for all this.. Thank you, very much for your time.
