Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Michigan

wardship

my 2 children were removed from their father's home in may 1998 for physical abuse and made wards of the court.they were placed in my custody.although i am not a party to the suit filed by protective services and i have been accused of any wrong doing(abuse,neglect,substance abuse etc)the court has required i take parenting claases and tons of couseling(which i have complied with)how to i get the court to release wardship of my children and give custody to me?after over 2 yrs the court still has wardship of my children.

I'm sorry, I am not sure if you said you were or were not accused of any wrongdoing. Generally, if you've complied with the court orders (all of them) and you have made sure FIA has the documentation there would be no reason to hold open a case except to keep the orders regarding Dad in place. Even still, you generally have to motion the Circuit Court for custody and maybe that is what needs to be done, but at any rate pester both the prosecutor's office FIA until they are responsive.
