Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan

I recently was involved in a car accident..I have 4 weeks of paid time off that I have accrued over time. My employer is makeing me take both concurrently. Since I may need to be off for more than 12 week can I get them to use my PTO first then go on FMLA, or can they force me to use them concurrently. This way they can stop my insurance and make me go on Cobra.

Assuming your accident was in Michigan and you were insured, you have many first party benefits including three years of wage loss. Something here is not right. Contact me at Kliszlaw.com to discuss your facts. Tim Klisz
