Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan

Work schedule/ Unemployement.

Hi.

I have been working at this company for 1.5 year and my shift has always been 8am to 430pm. I was told at hiring interview I need to be available to work up to 8pm, but a month after hire my supervisor told me I would not work late shifts and a year later I received a copy of e-mail communication between my supervisor and workforce management stating that my shift was locked. Now that both supervisor and workforce manager do not work here anymoren and my company is switching my shift from 8am to 430pm to a 1030am to 7pm. I can not work this late due to daycare hours. If I can not accept new shift and company terminate me will I be able to collect unemployement compensation? I live in Michigan.

Thank you.

Unemployment website should have this information, although not your specifics.
