Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

buying a house with renters in it. the closing is in a week and seller didnt give them 30 days notice.i offered the seller i would give them 30 days as long as he paid me their rent for this month but was told no way. so how long do i have to give them or do they leave immediately after closing and try to get their last months rent from seller?

Once you are owner, you will need to give them a notice to quit, 30 days would be proper (7 day notice is for failure to pay rent). After this, you can sue them for eviction and will win.
