Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

Hi! I am experiencing a great deal of difficulty with my landlord in regards to breaking a lease contract. There is a horrifying infestation of several pests (which was not noted when I moved in, as it was winter). I have only been living here for three months, and I have records of several attempts to try to get them to fix this problem (e-mails, letters, taped phone calls) for the entire month of March. I also have photographic evidence of this problem. I have a severe phobia of pests such as spiders and other insects, causing panic attacks, rashes, and insomnia . This event has triggered severe episodes of my PTSD (which I have not experienced in the past two years, only recently due to the stress of this problem) and so I once again have to seek a mental health psychologist. I was just wondering what legal action I can take against the landlord in order to break this contract without paying a ridiculous fine (over 4 month's worth of rent).
