Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Michigan

medical malpractice

Been seeing a dr. that medicade makes me see as no other in the area. Have seen him for 8 mos. Never had any stats taken, ever, including weight, blood pressure etc. I am on disability for several reasons. Had a horriable 8 mos being ill..no treatment...finally got medicaide to allow me to go to a different dr. but I have to pay some of the expenses. I did this and found that I had breast cancer. Shouldn't the dr. I had been seeing have to account for this?

Re: medical malpractice

Well Maybe. There are not enough facts to tell whether the breast cancer should have been caught earlier. Many many thing s have to be considered before I could tell you that the delay in the diagnosis was wrong and that it has caused more injury.

These kind of cases can be complicated. Feel free to call me or e-mail direct. We have handled this type of claim in the past. 1-800-838-0800.
