My daughter and her husband are separating, but not filing for a legal separation or divorce at this time. We have a small home we own free and clear. We need to add our daughter to the deed (for tax/insurance savings - if an owner doesn't live there, it is considered a rental); what can we do to protect ourselves from her husband claiming an interest in the home when they do eventually divorce.
