Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

my father sold his property to my brother and his wife with a life estate on the part with his home on. since then my brother and wife have divorced and she has the property. when my father dies(and i'm still alive) how long do i and other relatives have to remove personal propeerty from the home before she has the right ot remove us from the property?

A reasonable time period. This is not defined but 30 days is certainly reasonable. If your father has a will, there may be personal property that belongs to another person upon his death. Before she removes any property, she should get the court's approval.
