If I homestead my Michigan, will I save it from foreclosure?

I am unsure what you mean by homesteading a Michigan property, but having a home in Michigan as your primary residence will not stop a foreclosure. You can stop a foreclosure by refinancing the property, entering into a forbearance agreement with the lender, or filing a Chapter 13 bankruptcy (if you qualify).
