Liens

Whan property has liens against it and it is sold, does the collection agency have the right to charge interest on those liens?

It depends upon the lien order. If there is a court order and it grants interest, then yes. Usually there is at least judgment interest available.

If there is no court order,then the interest rate would the one that applies to the underlying debt.
