Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

I live in Michigan and I build my home 6 years ago. This past year the twp. Of Casco wanted to reappraise the entire twp. I refused to let them on my property and the twp raised my appraised value $80,000.00. When I went to fight them the twp the board denied my claim because I did not let the appraiser on my property. I filed an appeal with the state and I get a letter a week later stating we hear you are not happy with your current assessment if you let us reappraise your property we may be able to lower your taxes. I then got my new property list and they raised my square footage by 1,000, increased my garage sq ft by 250. I have 1/3 brick on my home they added it to 100% brick and stated I finished my basement. They added an additional full bath. I feel this is pure abuse of power, is there anything I can do more than just file an appeal with the state?
