Privacy from police

Can a police officer legally enter my backyard for no reason and then ticket me for having two wheels of my car on my yard?

Re: Privacy from police

This would be a trespass and a police officer's defense to trespass is some lawful right to enter, which I cannot come up with in this case. Public officials do not have any special right to trespass, unless authorized by a search warrant. There are exceptions as where a police officer pursues a criminal across private property, but I can see no reason here.

I would challenge the ticket no matter what. If you would like my assistance, please contact me at www.lawrefs.com.
