Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

Hi, we are looking into renting a property that is currently owned by a person who is being investigated for Medicare Fraud. He is currently awaiting trial. The real estate agent claims that if the government did seize the building that we would not be forced to vacate the premises. Is this true?
