Legal Question in Social Security Law in Michigan

Soc sec disb

When I was first denied social security disibility, and apealed it I was told it would take 18 mnths, to get my hearing date. It has been 27mnths. Social Security say that they are just behind. Should I be worried and is there anything I can do to speed it up. Can it be my attorney. Thank You for your time.
