Personal propert tax in michigan

My wife started work for her sister in Florida that run a web business she works from our home but is on payroll in Florida. She make and ships all over the U.S.( Basical a work shop)Does not sell only makes product and ships. No local business. Do we have to pay personal property tax? She uses a printer and computer that her sister sent her. the printer and equimpment is about $20,000 and if so, isn't that like anyone who sell on ebay should as well being the use there computer and print to sell something?

If you are taking tax deductions for the equipment such as depreciation on your income tax forms, it is subject to personal property taxation. Generally, this tax is quite small and should be considered an expense.
