Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

ticket for entering without/permission

Went to see a person I new at their house,while there watching a Lions football game the police came and gave everyone a ticket for entering wo/permission??They also search for drugs which they did not find..I was home for a retirement party that weekend and just stop by to say hi. I live 270 miles away so I never answer the ticket..How do I clear this up.I understand I have a warrant out for my arrest now! The house was not vacant,I knock on the door he let me in..I did nothing wrong..

My suggestion is that you take care of the warrant immediately as it will not go away on its own. You can call the district court where the ticket was issued to schedule an arraignment. After the warrant is withdrawn at the arraignment another court date will be set so that you or your attorney can discuss the case with the prosecutor.
