Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Ok my dad passed July 12th 2012 he got married a month before he passed while he was on hospice my dad was legally blind and had a 3rd grade education, so he couldn't read his mail or anything the wife knew that, so she used it to her advantage, anyhow my dad never took ex wife off as beneficiary of his policy, but the divorce decree stated she wasn't entitled so it revoked her as beneficiary, so now the wife was appointed as the PR knowing my dad wishes for his children to split the policy, ok she wrote a letter stating how much he wanted us to have but saying its a whole different policy which its only the one, my question is can we use that letter in court to receive what our dad wanted us to have? By the way the letter was saying she didn't want us to get no part of my fathers estate....

Could be a big battle. A spouse is entitled to a large chunk of money anyhow, so it would really depend on that. Contact me at kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
