Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Dog Days

Hello,

My girlfriend/fiance who has been living with Me for 16 years, Has recently and suddenly passed away. She has two children(18 and 27),and no will.

All of her things are still here, including a puppy that is the result of a verbal agreement breeding with her sister in law's stud and our bitch, $300 or pick of litter.

One puppy was born (worth $700)

and she wants to take it as pick of litter. Can she?

That's the puppy question, Now the real question!

What do I do, now that I have lost the love of my life?

She was 47, I'm 48.

Thank You all for going to school and learning how to answer this.

Tim

Re: Dog Days

A verbal agreement is enforceable according to its terms and conditions, and in this case death would not discharge the duty of your girlfriend. I do not have the vocabulary to understand what the terms you use are meant in the breeding world. If you could clarify the terms, I might be able to provide you with a more definitive answer.
