Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Can a pour-over will be contested?

Just wondering if a pour over will can be contested. My grandfather set up a trust because of some sketchy things his live in girlfriend (20 years younger) has recently done.

She has some legal knowledge being a judges ex-wife and her son is also a lawyer.

She made statements about contesting his will and he decided to put things into a trust. However there are some things he hasn't put into the trust yet and quite honestly says he doesn't feel like it right now. There is a pour over will and everything in the pour over will says that everything goes into the trust.

Can this pour over will be contested?

What grounds would his girlfriend have to contest the will. If she isn't in the will and she contests it, she still won't be entitled to anything as she wouldn't have a legal right to inherit anything if there is no will.
