Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

I purchased a condo that was in probate. The prior owner had no heirs and it was cleared for sale. Three days prior to closing I was told the estate representative was removed and replaced. A new representative was appointed by the court last Friday. Is there a reasonable amount of time that I should close in before I can cancel the agreement and ask for the return of my earnest money?

I am not certain why you want to cancel. Your purchase agreement dictates the terms. If the last date allowed to close under the purchase agreement has been exceeded, you may have an opportunity to terminate the agreement and receive your deposit. Please call or e-mail me to discuss this in more detail. 586-580-8850 or [email protected]
