Legal Question in Disability Law in Minnesota

school discrimination

I attended a technical school and had to

leave because of a aggravation to a work-auto

injury anyways I went to sign some papers to

withdrawl til a later date. I signed he

papers and the dept.chr.person told me my

kind was no longer welcome at his school. I

was very distraut I can't control my medical

flare-ups(bad back, chronic pain) all I

wanted was to get educated. Since then I've

tried to go back to that place but I can't. I

have money invested in a education and the

school doesn't want to help the physically

handicapped I'm all of sudden not welcome but

they will take my money. I'm currently

seeking to enroll in another tech school,

what a waste of tution ,books and supplies

along with time and emotional stress. Do I

have a case?

Re: school discrimination

These cases are always fact-intensive. Your best bet is to go immediately to an employment-law or antidiscrimination attorney in your home state of Minnesota.

There is an organization called National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). It has a Minnesota chapter. Call your local bar association and someone there can lead you to the attorneys who are members.

If that fails, look in the phone book.
