Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Minnesota

Minor Consumption

I am enlisted active into the United States Army, but do not qualify for the position I want, because I have a Minor Consumption on my record. I did not pay a fine, or go to court, they gave me the option of taking the class that is offered. Is there anyway at all to get this dismissed entirely off my record..? PLEASE HELP!!

Re: Minor Consumption

The answer depends on what is actually showing up on your record and what happened in the case. Your post is not clear on either of those points.

If you were not convicted and, instead, went into some kind of a diversion program resulting in a dismissal of the charge, you may seek to expunge all records. If you entered a plea or if the matter is still pending while waiting for a probatuionary period to pass, the options are limited.

I would have to review the records to determine what may be done.
