Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota

payroll garnishment

can one appear in front of a judge and ask for 25% garnishment be lowered. person can not support disabled underage son and unemployed spouse. person is due to lose car, job etc due to garnishment because they can not pay for gas to get there,food,rent etc.any options to advise,poor credit no option for loan.bankrupsy filed already due to house burning down less than 7 years ago.

While you are waiting for your eligibility to come around again for a Chapter 7 bankuptcy, you might be able to do a Chapter 13. 13 involves a payment plan, but it might be less than your garnishment.
