Legal Question in Consumer Law in Minnesota

bought a clean titled car, now paying for a salvaged titled car...

i purchased a car from a used car dealership in 2004 that was purchased with a clear title and factory warranty. because the vehicle was purchased out of state (according to the lot owner) the VIN would need to be verified by a dot inspecter. after further investigation it was discovered that the vehicle was a theft recovery vehicle and the factory warranty was null and void with this discovery. also when i finally received the title after all was said and done...it was a salvaged title. now i'm making payments on a salvaged vehicle for the price of a clean titled vehicle. any suggestions? do i have a case to get the price reduced to what it should have been considering that the title which was originally clean is now salvaged? any help would be great!

Have you obtained estimate of differential of current vehicle value vs. what you were told you were getting?

That is first step, then going to dealer for demand of difference or rescission.

Call or e-mail for further assistance.
