Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

I have recieved a court date for a bad check that I wrote for 147.00 can I just go and pay the amount at the courthhouse before the court date in MN

It depends why you are going to court. If you are being charged with a crime you would still have to appear, even if you paid the debt. If it is a civil case you could probably settle the case before court by paying the creditor, but make sure you execute a written settlement agreement that expresses the creditor will dismiss the case. Then keeping checking to make sure it was dismissed before the court date.
