Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
my car was impounded because my friend got stabbed and my car was at the crime scene. they arrested me and said i was a witness. i gave my statement of what the male that stabbed my friend looked like. they still have my car and said they are getting a search warrant. can they do that? i have drugs in the car but i dont understand how they can search my vehicle. I guess the question im trying to ask is am i going to be charged with this?

They will likely be able to get a warrant, and you will be charged with a drug crime if they find drugs in your car. Are you also a suspect in the stabbing? You NEED a lawyer right now.
