Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

Have a Disorderly Conduct- Brawling and fighting Misdemeanor from 2007 was arrested and released without talking to a judge and this is causing me and my family from getting a place of residence, i have had nothing since then this is the only thing on my record, is there anything i can do? please help

P.S. I can buy a firearm but apparently cant rent an apartment for my fiance, 11month old son, and I....

If the charges were dismissed or never filed, you likely qualify for an expungment. I would suggest you talk to some criminal defense attorneys in your area to see if this can work for you.
