Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

harrassment by police officer

I have had trouble with an officer I once dated and now I

get harrassed by this person all of the time. I am from a

small area (one of the larger cities in Minnesota not

including the Twin Cities) so not very big. It is a place

where everybody knows everybody. If I go to the police it is

where this officer works so I know that my word is not as

good as the officer's. I need some advice on what to do. I

get harrassed way too much and I am starting to get scared.

I was harrassed again this weekend and the harrassment is

starting to ge more amd more psycho! Please give me some

helpful inf

You might try speaking with a family law lawyer in your area for help with this. You could seek a Harassment Restraining Order in court. You might get some relief talking to police administration about this bad behavior. You could call a family violence hotline or shelter for ideas and referrals. You could look into a telephone recording device at Radio Shack, and otherwise try to document his harassment. Share this problem with your friends and family, pastor, etc. Good luck.
