Thank you for the inquiry. If you missed a court date, a warrant would issue for your arrest. Often, with the assistance of counsel, the warrant can be stayed pending a hearing on the issue. If the warrant is not stayed, you must report in early in the morning on the warrant in order to be called up to court that same day. That may take the better part of the day. In many instances, a small bail may also be set for more immediate release. Your case would have to be reviewed to determine what situation exists for you.

A careless driving is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $1000 fine. For a consultation, you may call me at 612-240-8005.
