Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

Driving

My licence was revoked in May of 08 in MN after a DWI. I am able to get my licence back now but do not have the money to pay reinstatement. If I was caught driving, what would be the penalty?

Re: Driving

A driving after revocation is a misdemeanor offense punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $1000 fine. Perhaps even more concerning is the fact that if you are still on probation for the DWI, a charge for driving after revocation would also be a probation violation where the Judge can impose any jail sentence previously stayed.

Re: Driving after revo while on DWI probation

The maximum penalty for Driving After Revocation, if you have no priors, is 90 days and $1,000; and it is an arrestable offense. It would also likely violate your DWI probation, which would likely result in executed jail time. How much, is diffcult to say.
