Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

First DUI offense...lost how this works.

My husband was arrested last evening, first DUI charge. Breath test of 0.88 His license was clipped...is his licence suspended? He drives for a living (deliveries) can he work? We are lost how to handle this. How do we choose an attorney that will care about the outcome versus ''just another case?'' Thanks!

Your husband can only drive for seven days, then he goes for two weeks without a license. After that, he can get a limited license for work purposes - or at least this is how it usually works.

It's a shame he has a ticket with such a low reading.

There are plenty of lawyers out there that handle DWI cases, but you should talk with someone who specializes in it. Go ahead and do a Google search for DWI lawyers or you can Google my name if you'd like to see my website. You two will feel a lot better if you talk with a good DWI lawyer, even if you decide not to retain one.
