Visit a DPS office to inquire about the requirements. You'll hear that you have to take a DWI knowledge test, provide proof of insurance, meet with a driver evaluator, pay around $700, and apply for reinstatement. Beyond the limited license issue, I strongly recommend that you retain an experienced DWI defense lawyer to represent you. Good luck!

I suggest you go online to the MN DPS (that is, Minnesota Department of Public Safety) website as they have helpful materials including booklets explaining many matters. As to the DWI: I urge you to secure an attorney so she/he can assist you with all you face.
