I was at a party drinking and we heard the cops were outside. We shut the lights off and hid. They knocked and then stopped. They waited 30 mins to get a warrant to come in which they did and they gave all the people who were drinking minors. The next day the cop calls my friend who had the party saying they cant find the warrant and thought they left it at my friends house. So basically they dont have the warrant anymore for evidence. Is there any way out of this?

That would certainly be a defense if the warrant cannot be located. A proper warrant would be necessary to enter the residence.
