Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

owning a vehicle after multiple dui

my brother lost his lic a year ago from having multiple dui--name removed--in iowa. he spent 30 days in jail and could no longer have a vehicle registered to him. He has since moved to MN, and has gotten his Iowa lic reinstated, and will get his MN lic this week. When is it legal for him to have a vehicle registered in his name again?

The answer to your question is known only to God, and to the Department of Public safety (where they sometimes think they are God).

While reaching the Diety may be difficult, you may call the Dept. of Public Safety, Diriver Evaluation unit, at 651-296-2025.

Good luck.

and Merry Christmas.
