Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Adoption

I adopted my wife's son 3 years ago, after being pressured by my wife and her family (he's now 15 y.o.). We've consistantly disagreed on how to raise him. Unfortunately we will probably divorce. Neither my wife or my adopted son allow me to be his parent-it's made very clear that she's his parent and I'm just there to support him financially. Is it possible to legally reverse the adoption?

Re: Adoption

The Rules of Adoption Procedure only allow 90 days from the time the adoption judgment was filed to file a motion to vacate it. If a divorce is contemplated, you should talk with a divorce attorney to explore your options regarding custody, parenting time and child support.
