Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Couple is divorced - ex-wife got evicted and ex-husband allowed her to stay in basement in order to help with childcare. Ex-wife left on vacation with father and left no one to care for the 3 kids who are all autistic. Ex husband told her not to return. This was almost 5 weeks ago and her personal belongings are still at his place. How long does he have to store these things before getting rid of them?

This is not really a family law question. It is more of a landlord/tenant question. What agreements were reached when she moved in? Has she been given notice that she needs to come get her belongings? Pick a date in the future (45 - 60 days out) and let her know that if she has not removed her personal belongings by that time they will be removed and disposed of for her.

The family law question is - where and how are the three autistic children? (But since you are not the father, that is not your case).
