How much time should the father of my newborn get with her? Overnight visits when should they start?

Visitation with a new born varies, but the idea is that the father should spend frequent short visits of an hour or two every other day in order to establish a bond with the child. Overnights can start at anywhere between one and three years of age depending on the maturity of the child and the relationship with the father.
