Divorce in India

I have got my divorce in india (madras). My x-wife applied for it and got the exparty divorce. I would like to get a copy of the divorce which she got. Is it possible to apply for it from the USA where i am residing right now. If not what is the procedure.

Is it possible for me to get my next marriage registed in the USA. Please let me know. Thank You.

Call or write the courthouse in Madras and ask what you need to do to get a certified copy of your divorce decree. Minnesota will consider the divorce from India to be valid.

If you are a Minneosta resident now, and basically that's anyone who is living here legally, you can get married here under our laws. You don't have to be a citizen.
