Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

divorce

I am in the divorce process in MN state. The decree states that we will each claim 2 of the 4 children on taxes. she claimed all 4 anyway, stating the divorce is not final and she can do so. should i claim 2 anyway? is what she did legal? is there anything i can do legally?

Federal income tax is not controlled by the state courts.

You need to talk to your MN attorney. I don't practice law in MN.
