My husband and his ex wife were divorced 4 years ago. The judgement requires him to pay her maintenance for the rest of her life or until she remarries. As this seems extreme, we are wondering if there is a procedure to overturn or amend this judgement with a new ruling?

I am afraid the remedy would have been to appeal the Judgement when it was entered. If no appeal occurred, it cannot be modified by motion.
