Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

depositions

I am going to be deposed soon for a company lawsuit. Am I under any obligation to go to the deposition or can I refuse?

Re: depositions

Your employer can probably require you to attend as part of your job duties. If you refuse to attend, the other side could subpoena you, and then you would be required to attend by court order.
