You may have a consumer complaint against the pharmacist. You may also want to contact the pharmacy licensing board in your state. Unless you wife suffered serious harm as a result of the prescription error, you probably do not have a serious medical negligence case.

Contact your State Board of PHarmacy to determine if there is grounds for action against the pharmacists license.
