crime and naturalization

Hello,

The circumstances are: person is male. person is legal permanent resident.

person was arrested for indecent exposure.

the person was finger-printed, mug-shots were taken and the person

was released. the da put the case as "continued for dismissal". No fines

were assessed.

what is the impact of this on the person's attempt to file for

naturalization?

Important that you disclose the information. Fact that there was no conviction is in your favor. Contact the court where the deferral/dismissal occurred and get a certified copy. Make a copy of the certified copy and file with your application.
