Is an employer allowed to discus personal medical information with other employees?

It depends on the organizational position of the other employee. Employers are required to keep employee medical information strictly confidential and in a file separate from the employee's regular HR file. Employers can only share such information with others in the organization on a very limited basis. Hope that helps.
