Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

Pay reduced to minimum wage because I quit my job

My employer says they have the right to drop my pay down to minimum wage on my final paycheck if I quit without notice. Is this true? Many people have had this happen and some stay at the job just for that reason.
