Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

I am on a month to month lease my landlord gave me a letter saying I have to vacate by 05/31/2011 on the letter is says 30day notice I received the letter on 04/10/2011 can I move out by 04/31/11 and not have to pay may rent?

You cannot move out as a matter of right on April 30; like your landlord, you have to give 30 days notice. You can, however, ask your landlord if you can move out on that date. If you and your landlord both agree, you can move out then.
