Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

Can I send a registered letter to my roommate about....
My roommate gave her 30 day notice on 10/31/05, was to be out stuff and all by the 1st of this month.

The problem is her stuff is still here. Can I send a registered letter letting her know she has 7-10 days to get her stuff out? Or is there something else I can do? I've contacted the landlord, and advised that her stuff is still here, and it is difficult to look for a new roommate if her stuff is still in the Apartment.

SHe is a HOLDOVER tenant, and the landlord is the only one who can evict her. Talk to the landlord immediately.
